On 3rd of November, building of the Sikh Sanctuary at Gilwell Park began

Scout Leaders, a contractor, sponsors and friends gathered for the First Dig Ceremony.
A moment of great significance, marking the beginning of the Sanctuary’s construction.
Each participant took part in breaking the ground, symbolising our collective commitment to building a space rooted in prayer, learning, and equality.

Since that day, steady progress has been made. The foundation has been dug, concrete poured, and steel pillars have now been installed.
Shuttering of wall and the pillars for the structure are currently in progress.

These milestones reflect not only the physical growth of the Sanctuary but also the strength of our unity and shared vision.
