The Scout Network is a group of 18 - 25 olds who normally meet in a Scout County
or District. They have an interest in both Scouting and their own personal development.
They take part in activities, which they undertake and organise amongst themselves
and meet when they want to, perhaps weekly, monthly, or once a quarter.
The Scout Network programme is based around three self-development areas:
· Skills & development
Members may also work towards the Duke of Edinburgh's Award possibly in parallel
with the Chief Scout's and Queen's Scout Awards.
A special Network unit was put together in 2008 to work in partnership with 13th
Southall, on the ‘Africa Project’.
